This page covers www.metricsplit.com: the "Book a free assessment" form and the AI assistant. It explains what we collect, why, who handles it and how long we keep it. Questions: hello@metricsplit.com.

What we collect and why

• The form: your name, work email, phone number, company, role, number of sites, main router or SD-WAN vendor, the best time for a call, and your consent tick. We use them only to arrange your call and follow up on your request.
• The AI assistant: the messages you type. If you book a call in the chat, also your contact details (name, work email, phone number, company, role, country) and your answers to three short questions: number of sites, main router or SD-WAN vendor, and whether each site has its own internet or goes through a data centre. We use them to answer your questions and arrange your call.
• With both: your browser's time zone, the page you were on, and the country your connection comes from. Your IP address is used for the bot check and to limit how many messages one visitor can send; we keep only a scrambled (hashed) form of it, never the address itself.

The AI assistant

• The chat is answered by an AI, not a person. It answers from this website's own pages and can still be wrong; a network expert can confirm anything on a call.
• Your messages are sent to Anthropic, the maker of the Claude AI model, to write the answers.
• Please don't type passwords, router or firewall configurations, IP addresses or traffic data into the chat.

Booking a call

Calls booked in the chat are handled by Cal.com. It receives your name, email address and time zone, and sends you the invite and a reminder.

Bot check, and nothing else

The form and the chat use Turnstile, a bot check that loads only when you open the form or the chat. This website runs no analytics and no other third-party scripts.

How long we keep it

• Chat logs: 90 days, then deleted automatically.
• Requests from the form or the chat: until you ask us to delete them.
